About 4G's Pyrotechnics
4G’s Pyrotechnics is a local group of 13 guys that love what they do. We are a 100% volunteer group- none of us have ever been paid for what we do. 4G’s Pyrotechnics (God, Glory, Guts, and Gunpowder) was founded in 1966, and at that time, our only focus was on beginning the tradition of 4th of July fireworks in Belmond, Iowa. That tradition has lived on for over 55 years. Today, Belmond has an incredible, fully choreographed, pyrotechnic display every 4th of July. Many have commented that the Belmond show is the best show they’ve ever seen, whether they be from small town Iowa, or bigger cities on the west or east coast.
Once the Belmond show was established, our group decided to pursue other displays across Iowa. We can provide affordable displays of any size for any group including county fairs, weddings, city celebrations, corporate events, private events, and anything in between.
In 2017, we began our consumer retail sales venture. We purchased property along Highway 69 one mile south of Belmond, Iowa. From June 13 to July 8 each year, our store has everything available in the consumer market from bottle rockets, roman candles, multi shot cakes, artillery shells, fire crackers, and novelties. Our staff is second to none and will always take the time to greet our customers, explain what things do, and make any recommendations you need to put together your own spectacular display.
